Thomas O. Huffhines, P.E. President 
As president of Dunaway Associates, Tom Huffhines believes that putting the right person in the right position is critical to the firm's success and the client's satisfaction.
"Seeing young people succeed and seeing every project successfully completed is my reward," he says. Tom's primary responsibilities include firm administration, as well as serving as a senior design counselor in all categories of projects. Above all, he sets the tone for the responsive attitude that Dunaway clients have come to expect. "I make sure our clients get what they need from us," Tom says; "the people, the schedules, and the priorities." Executive Vice President Tom Galbreath admits that clients can be demanding-especially in the private-sector retail developments that are his specialty. But despite tight schedules and difficult circumstances, Tom manages to help his team keep things in perspective.
"It's our job to be a smart consultant, to serve the client well, to achieve their project goals, and deliver a good product," he explains. "I'm always proud when we pull together a team and have fun with a project under difficult constraints." Project management and team leadership are not without their challenges, says Vice President Toby Ford. But a job well done makes it all worthwhile.
"My reward is seeing a project completed smoothly," Toby says. In addition to the leadership he provides on residential, commercial, and industrial development projects, Toby also makes it his business to keep the client's interest at the forefront of every project. "It's our business to find solutions for our clients that incorporate their ideas and vision in a cost effective manner."
