Hydrologic & Hydraulic Project Manager

Salary: Commensurate with experience and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
Manage and lead hydrologic and hydraulic tasks, including field investigations, engineering analysis, design of drainage systems and erosion control measures, and other water resources projects

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for wide range of projects, including floodplain management and flood control, erosion protection and bank stabilization, and storm drain and culvert analyses

Prepare engineering reports and other written communication, design drawings, cost estimates and construction documents

Develop client relationships and contribute to business development

Mentor junior staff



Qualifications:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience, with at least two years of project management experience

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering —Masters degree a plus

Texas professional engineering license required, or ability to obtain through interstate reciprocity

Knowledge/experience in hydrologic and hydraulic engineering, flood control, open channel hydraulics, storm drain and detention pond design

Good understanding of NFIP regulations and experience with CLOMRs/LOMRs

GIS experience would be considered an asset

Must possess strong interpersonal skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

A sense of humor is a plus and a willingness to mentor is required
